Qualicum Landing a Hit!
There may have been a severe downtown in the economy last year but that didn't stop some rather forward thinking property developers from pursuing their dreams. Qualicum Landing, built of the site of the former Cost A Lotta camground just north of Qualicum Beach, sold half it's homesites very rapidly and now, with new show homes open for viewing, they expect the remainder of the waterfront prperties to sell very rapidly.
From FEBRUARY 12-28 AND MARCH 12-21, 2010 the Parksville Community & Conference Centre (PCCC) will become THE “Gathering Place” for the community to come together to watch the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
The PCCC is thrilled to be the only indoor “live site” facility on Vancouver Island. The intention is to broadcast live Olympic & Paralympic events over the course of the games and to capture the enthusiasm of the public by creating an atmosphere where people would want to gather and celebrate in the “largest living room” on Vancouver Island.
Tickets are available at the PCCC or through sponsoring Community Groups
